Three fashion looks created with recycled materials for the CIRCULAR FASHION EXPO 2022. Three distinct characters meant to create commentary on religion and the ways it consumes women.

Process

All materials were found/thrifted. Created from my at home studio for my clothing brand, ZOMBIE666. Hand painted, screen printed, hand sewed. Below are the initial concept sketches that I based my designs on, alongside some notes I took to document my ideas.

FINAL LOOKS

These three characters each play a role in their fictional world. The first look, THE PRIESTESS, is a religious fanatic looking to use human life to bring her God to the mortal realm. THE SACRIFICE is the poor soul she has taken, pulling pieces from her body to build THE DIETY, a teenage horror stitched together and unable to control her power.
